I think sometimes people can come to be consumed by these insecurities, constantly worrying about them, letting them come to define who you are as a person. It's important to accept your insecurities, and then learn to avoid worrying about them. Just let them be there, without letting them rule your life. It's okay just to say "yes, I have this thing I dislike about myself, but I'm going to push it to one side, and not let it define me". I think a really good way to do this is to recognise your insecurity, maybe write it at the top of a page, but then underneath it, write all the things you do like about yourself, all the things that make you feel confident. If you don't have many ideas, then ask your friends and family what they think are some of your best features.
In this way, you can learn to rock your insecurities, and not let them rule your life.
What are some of your insecurities? How do you manage them? What are your thoughts on pushing them to one side?
